Picture of Admin Userbecome a facilitator
by Admin User - Sunday, July 30 2006, 01:31 PM
Becoming a facilitator allows you to add documents, multi-media and sections to courses, rather than placing them in pre-set forums. Just e- mail me at jolindast@gmail.com with the request. Let me know who your are and I'll change your status and point you to some documents that explain more about your options.

Whether you want to make your own blog entry or see what blogs others have entered, the first two steps are the same.

Click on your name in the "Online Users" box on the left side of the home screen. Then click on the "blogs" tab.

From there you can

1. Make an entry
2. Look at your previous blog entries
3. Look at blogs from other religious educators

When you make an entry you can elect to make it private by selecting "publish to me." Or you can publish to the site. Please don't select "publish to the world".

Using the private option gives you another way to enter confidential information that will be available to you any time you can access the internet.

Picture of Admin UserEnrollment key
by Admin User - Sunday, July 30 2006, 01:32 PM
Each time you enter a new section (course) you will be asked for an enrollment key. Enter the same key each time with two exceptions.

1. There is a separate key for the professional section available to LREDA members only.

2. You may set up your own private section for a forum for your RE committee or your cluster or just for yourself. Each of those has its own enrollment key to keep it private.

You will be asked for the key only once in each section. When you return there will be no barrier.

Before you do anything else
Go to The Lounge and open the "Private Space" section. Open Journal 1 and enter your enrollment keys. You'll always be able to return to it and get the key to open new sections.

If you don't have a key, email jolindast@gmail.com. You will get a return e-mail asking for verification that you are a religious educator (i.e. active in some portion of religious education) and then you'll receive the key.
